Learning can be defined as a relatively durable change in behavior or knowledge that is due to experience. Conditioning is a common type of learning that involves forming relatively simple associations, allowing us to predict and control events in our lives. The two major types of conditioning are: 1. Classical conditioning, which involves learning to predict events, and 2. Operant conditioning, which involves learning to control events.
