“Israeli-Palestinian Conflict:
Pathways to Peace”
NOTE: The

CALL FOR PROPOSALS AND GUIDELINES
You can submit proposals for concurrent presentations or panels.
Presentations are 20 minute, single presenter papers. They will be grouped into sessions based on topic and content.
Panels are 60 minute long, and have multiple presenters (Recomended 3 or 4).
We will strive to maintain a balance
between Israeli, Palestinian and other U.S. and international
speakers and encourage researchers from all sides of the conflict to
send their proposals.
Porposals should highlight research
regarding obstacles and opportunities to the achievement of peace
between Israelis and Palestinians. Possible topics include (but are not
limited to):
o Social and psychological factors in the conflict
o Historical, philosophical, and theological issues
o Economic factors and cooperation
o Demographic realities and solutions
o Geographic obstacles to peace
o Negotiations – Models, perceptions and strategies
General
Guidelines :
- Submitting a proposal represents a commitment to register and make the presentation at the conference if it is accepted.
- Individuals with religious constraints with respect to the scheduling
of the day or time of their presentation should indicate those
limitations when the proposal is submitted.
- Submissions must be received by midnight on December 15, 2007.
- Limits on submissions and participation: Any single individual may only
present one paper and participate in one panel at the conference.
